Death Cab For Cutie!
Yay, Death Cab was awesome last night! I waited in line outside the venue for two hours, but it was worth it to be right up front and be able to see really well. The support band for Death Cab was Styrofoam, a three-piece from Belgium. They had a sound similar to Death Cab, and you could dance to it a bit, but Death Cab just ROCKED the stage, seriously! I totally didn't recognize Ben Gibbard when he came onstage because his hair was much longer, he wasn't wearing any glasses, and he is hella skinny by comparison! I was like, "Who is this guy? Where's Ben?"
I also took some video. The sound quality is really poor, but I'm trying to get it to load onto the Flickr site anyway. I'm going to keep my ticket and such as a really good keepsake.
Today was fun! I didn't have to work, since we are off on Fridays, so I went to the doctor and got something prescribed for my acne (it's gotten much worse :( ) and then I went with Maria and Gabby to Oxford Street to go shopping, but I got to feeling really bad, so I left early to go rest. Turns out I shouldn't have taken my acne antibiotic on an empty stomach and I got really lightheaded and woozy. Then Sharon made us all dinner! It was dorm room pizza on French bread with pasta sauce, mozzarella, and red peppers. Yummy! Maria's and my turn is next week, but we haven't decided what to make yet. Any ideas?
Love,
Julie

ok, let's see...take olive oil, black olives, artichoke hearts, cooked angel hair pasta, dill, thyme, chopped spinach and capers if you can get them.
